Submission Guidelines
​​Authorship

The Journal, in addition to the author, allows co-authorship up to two authors. (Total up to three authors)
-
Abstract Requirements
-
All submissions must contain an abstract of 250- 300 words, and at least 5 keywords.
-
The abstract shall provide for the scheme of the research paper. It shall contain title, background, aim or purpose of research, methodology and a conclusion indicating the author’s perspective.

The abstract shall also contain the full name of the author/s, designation with institute/university name and email address.

All participants are required to submit their respective abstracts by the specified deadline, i.e., May 15th, 2025, by mailing your submission to mujlawreview@jaipur.manipal.edu

Abstracts will be subjected to blind peer review and only those abstracts approved by the reviewers shall be allowed to be submitted as full papers for the Journal. Acceptance of abstract is not a confirmation regarding its publication in the Journal. The full paper will again be subjected to a double-blind peer review process.
Types of Submissions

Long Articles: 6000–8000 words
-
Short Articles: 3000-5000 words
-
Notes/Comments/Book Reviews: 1500–2500 words

The aforementioned word limit is not inclusive of the footnotes.
Title Formatting
-
We recommend keeping a short-running title of less than 40 characters. The title shall be kept in Justified alignment with the font size of 14.
Research Content
-
Authors should define their research questions and review all recent relevant literature while preparing the full paper.

Structure and Formatting
-
Text of the paper: Font: Times New Roman, Font Size: 12, Spacing: 1.5
-
Footnotes: Font: Times New Roman, Size: 10, Spacing: 1

The main text and the footnotes must be kept in the Justified alignment.

The content of the manuscript must be in paragraph format. The Journal discourages the use of bullet or point-by-point expression by the authors.

Headings Format
1. FIRST LEVEL HEADING
-
Must be typed in capital letters, bold, center aligned, bold, font size 12, Times New Roman.
1.1 Second Level Heading
-
Must be in bold, justified, font size 12, Times New Roman.
1.1.1. Third Level Heading
-
Must be justified, regular font style, font size 12, Times New Roman.
Citation Style
-
Submissions must conform to the Bluebook 21st Edition Citation Style. Please note that only one citation style must be adopted throughout the manuscript.
Plagiarism, Originality, and Confidentiality
-
All submissions will be screened for plagiarism and AI writing. A maximum similarity index of 10% is permitted and in no case shall the submission exceed this limit. In case of violation of the same, the School of Law, MUJ reserves the right to disqualify the author(s) from making any future submissions for any of its publications or any further action as it deems fit.

The author is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of statements of facts, opinions or views in the submission. Submissions should not contain any content that is offensive, abusive, derogatory or potentially defamatory.
Exclusivity of Submission

The manuscript submitted to the Journal must not be previously published or currently under review at any other journal/conference/book and should not be submitted to any other journal/conference/book while under review with us.
Copyright Responsibility
-
In case of any copyright infringement, the Manipal University Jaipur will not be responsible, and it is the sole responsibility of the author/authors for any kind of IP infringement. All the authors submitting the full paper must submit a Copyright Agreement.
Submission Process and Requirements

Submission of manuscripts must be made in the Word (.doc/.docx) format. Submissions made in .pdf or other formats shall be rejected at the preliminary stage.

The manuscript file name must contain the Title of Paper. The submitted manuscript must not contain any reference to the identity of author/authors. This shall enable anonymity required for review of the submission.

The details of the authors – Name, Affiliation, Position/Year of Study, Email-Id, Contact Details, and ORCID ID (if available) – must be submitted in a separate Word document. This document shall also contain Copyright Agreement and declarations with regards to originality and conflict of interest. The same is available for download on the Journal Website.

You may mail your submission to mujlawreview@jaipur.manipal.edu. Please ensure that you have attached your anonymous manuscript and the declaration page to your mail.

The subject of the mail shall be: “Submission of Manuscript for Inaugural Issue”.
Important Dates
