About the Faculty of Law, Manipal University Jaipur
Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), established in 2011 as a State Private University, has rapidly become a center for academic excellence, particularly in Rajasthan and in the rest of the country. It forayed into the field of legal education in 2014 by introducing five-year integrated BALLB (Hons.), BBALLB (Hons.), Bachelor of Law (LLB), Master of Law (LLM), and PhD programs. The Institute has since then earned the distinction of being consecutively ranked 29th by NIRF 2023 and NIRF 2024 in the individual category of law.
About the Journal
The MUJ Law and Policy Journal (MUJLPJ) is the flagship journal of the Faculty of Law, Manipal University Jaipur. The journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed annual publication on critical and contemporary issues of law, with the primary aim of promoting academic discourse and interdisciplinary research. This is an open-access journal based on diverse themes on law and policy, and its intersection with other disciplines.
Themes for the Inaugural Issue
The Journal invites original and previously unpublished articles, notes, comments, and book reviews for its inaugural volume, to be tentatively released in September 2025, from academicians, professionals, research scholars, and students enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program.
The inaugural issue will be focusing on advanced topics relating to Constitutional Law, and authors can contribute articles on any of the following themes mentioned below. However, the list is not exhaustive. The authors are at liberty to explore any other topic relating to Constitutional Law.
